It’s Okay to Not be Okay

This April, I’m taking on the MATES Big Lap 2025—running, walking, swimming, and cycling my way through the challenge all April. It’s not just about pushing myself physically, but about taking a stand for suicide prevention in our industry.

Every step, every lap, and every drop of sweat is about raising awareness and making sure no one struggles in silence. Every dollar raised helps MATES continue their life-saving work, supporting workers and their families across all worksites and industries.

I’ll be sharing updates throughout the month—every bit of support counts. Let’s run, walk, swim, and ride together for a stronger, safer industry.

Big Lap for a Big Reason

Thursday 27th Feb
I’m here to do my part, raise funds and awareness for suicide prevention.
Anyone that knows me knows I’m not one to ask for money and I definitely struggle to ask for support or help even when I know I need it but that’s why this is so important. I know there are plenty of others out there that struggle silently everyday. I want to do my part to help raise funds and more importantly just awareness of how such little things can help change someone else’s world for the better. It cost nothing to be kind but that act of kindness could be worth more than you’ll ever know to someone struggling.
Please remember it’s okay to not be okay, remember to reach out and check on friends and family from time to time people can be struggling and you may not even realise.
